Home sick

This Texas Girl is very home sick. In one of my classes a speaker was showing and talking about the area that I grew up around. I want to go home! I have to finish school then hopefully I can return. This will be scary, cause even though Im homesick to go back, my son lives here and I will have to leave him behind. Im torn! Starting a whole new life will be scary, so do I stay where its secure or make a new start.

Game

This game was heartbreaking! A stupid mistake lost us a joyous win! We played hard. Our young team has lots to learn but they are doing well. Don't expect young players to pull off big wins but to learn how to play the game without mistakes. Go Team!!

Fall

I love this weather! It is cool enough that you wear light long sleeves and jeans, but not cold enough to wear the bulky winter coats. The colors of the trees are changing, but not falling yet. The sky is clear without that heat haze in the way. The night sky is clear where you can see the stars and moon shine. Yes, other than the Spring where you have waited all winter to warm up, Fall is my favorite time of the year.

Life is like driving a car...

     I sit in my car alone and I make the decisions to where to go and how I want to get there.

     I sit in my car with one other person and the whole trip is different. They have input in how I drive,  where we go and how we get there.

     If I sit in my car and someone else is driving my input is little and I rely on them to get me where we are going.

                                                                                                                            
   With life when your alone you have to rely on yourself to make all the turns in your life whether they be right or wrong.
    Life with a partner you try to include them with your life decisions. They put their input of their life and how they would handle the situation and with you try to come up with what will work out best.
   When you let someone else make all the decisions in your life you are just along for the ride.

   We all try to drive down the right road so we wont have to say we wish we had taken the other road. Asking for directions does not mean you have to go in that direction it just means you have the choice of which road to take with informed knowledge.

Where are you?

How many ways can you think that you communicate with friends and family. I find more and more that texting instead of talking in person or on the phone is the way I communicate with my friends and family. What happen to dinner with the family to talk about what happened in everyone's life that day. I miss my family!!

Crazy Days

I try and I try but things seem so hard to make sense. The weather is great! I have a job! Im going to school to hopefully make something out of myself before I have to retire. :-) But things seem to be going by so fast I cant see where Im going or where I have been. Just yesterday my son was taking his first steps (no that was 21 years ago) now he is a young man making his way in the world. He has done what I should have done 20 or so years ago. He finished school and got a good job in his trained field. Im still in the game!!
